I am trying to be positive and find good things in myself and in what I have accomplished and thought it is actually a good idea for all of us to do, so tell us what your positive side of ADHD/ADD or whatever you have, is.
I guess one good thing about being ADHD is that I meet so many people on forums and in person since I have been open about my issues that I really do not ever feel alone! I used to feel alone and so frustrated like I was the only one that had to fight the world. My life has changed since I do not have to hide things anymore, it is positive!

The only real positives I think are ADHD related for me are that I am very creative. I tend to be able to think of something and just know how to make it without thinking about it. Actually, if I have to sit down and draw plans for it, I get distracted and can't do it but when allowed to just follow my vision, its instinctive. I also have been able to come up with simple solutions to problems that have stymied others at work.

I think you also forgot about your positive sense of humor! ;D LC I didn't forget about it, it's just that I have to 'curb' it occasionally 'cause I tend to let it go unrestrained so many times. And then I tend to alienate/offend too many people with my ''out there' humor which leads to further feelings of isolation . . . WoW I just did a CBT {Cognitive Behavioral Therapy} on myself.

I think the #2 one holds true for a lot of ADHD'ers myself, at least that is what I have observed! I think it is because we can really appreciate finding a true friend that knows who we really are! I wonder if ADHD'ers form deeper bonds with people once they let them in?
I know for a friend of mine that died recently, it seemed to really hurt and it was very hard to lose someone I trusted so deeply and who knew and liked the real me!
