Learning to manage a checking account is something that a student should practice and learn to do before they take off for college. The Consumer Debit Resource site offers interactive training which you may want to do together with your child. In addition, provide lots of sample checks and deposit slips for practice in writing them properly. Students with disabilities may need the extra practice to reach a point of mastery and confidence.
