Good First Day Yay!

Well Sean's first day of 2nd grade went well. He was excited to go and really likes his new teacher. I was glad to see that he has gotten his positive feelings back about school. Up until today he was really dreading it. I truly hope this year goes better.
There was one thing I heard about his teacher and I was like "oh great." A friend of mine who had a daughter in her class now has her son in Sean's class and she was telling me how nice the teacher is but "she is the most disorganized person she ever met." Her daughter has ADHD and some LDs and she said it was a rough year for her since she does best with a teacher who is very structered. I guess we will find out.
But today was a good day. So I will take that!

Awww...I'm so glad Sean had a grea day. There's nothing like them coming home happy!

No matter what the teacher is like I'm glad Sean had a great day. He can now have some expectations of a better year instead of going in with dread every day.

I am happy for you. Annette came home and told me she hates school and got into trouble day one at childcare so be proud.
