Ok, for those that are weighing in today...give us your numbers!
I did really bad this week. I got a coffee coolata and muffin at Dunkin Donuts twice. And one day I got a bag of chip and a full size candy bar. That day I was seriously depressed and just couldn't do it.
But with that said, my weigh in was at 178. So a 2 lb gain. Which isn't too bad because I fluctuate 3 lbs during the week. I'm feeling good about this week coming up. I fixed one of my hunger hours (around 3) with a bag of baby carrots (6 oz) so I'll keep that up all week and keep drinking water and see what I can do!
Ok, give me the good news, the bad news, the confessions, and the obstacles you over came this week!

Still 130...my weight has not changed and neither has my bad habit. I tried to drink water but its not going to happen. I am going to buy some lemons today to put in the water. I did walk Sean to and from school instead of driving but its not really far at all. I need to go to a Pepsiholics Anonymous meeting.

OK...I've just weighed in and I'm now at 190! I've gained 3 pounds! I'm not too concerned cuz its just about that time of the month. (Sorry...TMI.) I'm going to try much harder this week. I was more aware of what I was putting in my mouth, but did'nt necessarily stop putting it in.

I tried to weigh in...but my scale seems to have issues. The first time I weighed myself yesterday, it said 176.5. No way I lost almost 10 pounds. So I stepped on again...and it said 185.5, which is a half pound gain. This morning I tried to weigh a five pound bag of flour....and it won't do it...it is a digital scale, so maybe it needs batteries? I think I will buy a cheap regular scale tomorrow after school and (gulp) see what that one says.
I went to the Fall Festival yesterday and Friday...walked and walked and walked, slowly, but mostly continually for 3-4 hours each time while waiting for Chase to be done running with his friends. I was a pretty good girl, only have one lemon shake up and an apple dumpling with ice cream on Friday and a taco salad on Saturday...but on saturday, I drank Mt. Dew....shame on me. So, last night we ordered pizza, and even though I can easily put 3 pieces away normally, I only had one and drank a bottle of water.
Jon and I are going to the fall festival today to pick up an old vanity and mirror I bought (for $10!!!) and walk through the car show. I will attempt to be strong...
The good thing is, for some reason, no one is selling elephant ears or cheese fries at this festival. That really saved me, I could not have resisted those at all, LOL

Puzzled, you did great with the pizza! I'm a pizza lover too, so I know how hard that can be.
I've been watching more too. I won't say that I'm totally dieting, because when I do that I start to freak out. I'm making better choices and drinking lots of water. I love water, so that part is easy. If I'm really craving a carb I'm drinking my water first, then I'll wait 20 mins and see if I still want it. Most of the time I'm ok.
My challenge today is going out to dinner. It's my dad's 75th birthday and all of us are going out to a very fancy Italian Restuarant. I'm giving myself freedom because we NEVER go out to a fancy place like this. It's a treat. So, I'm going to just enjoy.
Keep up the great work everyone!

Today when we went to the festival, we just went in, grabbed the vanity that I bought, then left the part where the food stands are..and went across the street to the antique truck show, where we wandered for over an hour. There was nothing there to tempt me so all was good....then we get to the car, and Jon says "Do you feel like an ice cream cone?"....of course I do!
But...it is 3:45, and all I have had today is a bowl of cereal, a banana, and a cup of egg drop soup, and the ice cream cone...I held myself to a small...at least.

I'm jumping on the diet train too. hmm so does that mean it is training me to eat differently? I hope so!
thanks to hubby's birthday this weekend and me totally forgetting that ice cream and cake have empty calories, I weigh about the same as I did last week. Down one lb and up two. oh well starting again today on Monday.
I weigh 146 this morning and if I get to 130, I will be happy. I joined the YMCA last February for exercise classes which I really enjoy. Took a break over the summer and started up again last week. Taking a break today due to ankle and wrist problems, but hope to be back soon.
I put on 25 pounds during the time we lived in the Seattle area. I think that gain was related to the continual rain and learning to deal with seasonal affective disorder eight months of the year. SAD increased cravings for bread which unfortunately is great for weight gain. (For the SAD I use a special light which is quite helpful.)
Today 146 lbs. I am about 5' 1" I think. I say I think because I was always 5'0" until I was pregnant with J, my adhd middle son. I grew about 2 inches and over the last 20 years shrunk back down to about 5'1" although I don't really remember. ;D

I did good on Monday!! I'm so happy. Hopefully that will keep my week going.
I resisted all candy! And the cookies we just bought for the kids lunches.
I only drank 4 oz of diet soda, and made up for it in extra water!
I had carrots for my PM snack. Only one cup of coffe in the AM
Now I have to add exercise. Maybe I'll do some yoga with the kids tonight.
I'm feeling good about Friday. I just have to keep up the water drinking. And btw, watermelon flavored gum saves me so much. Now where is chocolate flavored gum when you need it???

I did well yesterday too. I ate a banana for breakfast...couldn't have cereal because Jake drank all the milk...again, LOL. I grabbed a granola bar and an apple and a frozen bottle of water to take with me to school. On my hour break, I ate my snack, sipped my water and totally resisted the dozen snack machines just 15 feet away.
After my second class, my water was gone and I was STARVED, but I did not stop for fast food on the way home.
I did have my beloved Chinese food for dinner...
