That reminds me. I was going to look up Chinese Food healthy choices.
Here's what I found (for next time)
Chinese food is high sodium, so drink extra water to help reduce water retention Choose a meat or noodle dish (not one the combines them) Choose chicken, seafood/fish with veggies (if you choose meat) Lo Mein instead of Chow Mein (because Lo Mein is boiled, Chow Mein is fried) Choose steamed, Jum (poached) or Kow (roasted). As a second best, Shu (barbeque) which is still better than fried Cantonese dishes have the lowest calories
And as always, PORTION CONTROL! And for dessert, add fresh fruit!!
