I did so horrible! Thursday, I didn't drink any water. Plus I've been snacking on chocolate and McDonald's all week. Can you say, PMS? So I gained, and it's probably all water weight. I'm up from 174 to 177. Ah well, a new week is starting. I'll get down to 170 soon! Hopefully before Halloween Candy starts pouring in.

I started my job at McDonald's this week...but I have been pretty diligent about not eating too much of the greasy food even though we get a free meal. I did eat a sandwich yesterday...but had a fruit and yogurt parfait instead of the fries...today I am going to do a side salad with maybe 4 nuggets cut up on top, with the parfait. I work 12-5.
I just weighed myself on both scales...the one I am unsure of and the new one. On the old one, I weighed 183.5 (down 1 and a half pounds) and on the new one I weighed 182...down 3 pounds. I will take both of them whichever is right...I am on my period this week and usually my clothes fit tighter that week...I am hoping against hope that next week I will be down even more...when that time of the month is over.
I had a yogurt with granola for breakfast. Lunch will be the McD's food...not sure about supper yet....

Surprise surprise-------I weigh 130! The scale has not budged. I have incorperated the lemon water into my day but still drink Pepsi. Mostly when I eat because I can just not drink water with a meal-YUCK!
Puzzled-If I worked at McDonald I would weigh 300 lbs easy. When I get it for the kids I always tell myself that I wont get anything for myself. But then I smell those fries and I cant eat the fries without a Big Mac and then of course there's the fountian soda. And if I worked there during breakfast...well that would be even worse-McMuffins, and McGriddles and hashbrowns...Hmmm isnt this a DIET thread??? Could be part of my problem LOL. I would have to work at Burger King because I think their food is nasty!

So, I have a little over a year to accomplish it. I ended up working till 7, I got a double cheeseburger, a yogurt parfait, and a sweet tea....I brought the cheeseburger home with me and gave it to Jake. See how good I am being...I do love that sweet tea though. I figure it CAN'T be as bad as the Mountain Dew.

All I have to say is I am excited about the weigh in this friday if things keep going in the direction that they seem to be going so far this week.
It helps when you spend 20 hours in a three day period on your feet running to and fro gathering drinks and assembling food orders with food you cannot munch on...

I am still at my 10lbs that I have to get rid of. Haven't lost a lb. It is so much harder then it was when I lost the 44 lbs.
But still have the determination, need to find the will power now. So keep fingers crossed for me.

My week is starting off good too. Yesterday I had to run to the bus stop Then I drank my water! Which is awesome. Then when I got home I did 20 mins on the stationary bike. I hope to drop a few and get closer to 170!!! Hot tip for the week. Add some green tea to your morning. It increases your metabolism and supresses your appetite. If possible, have a cup after each meal! Anon

Scotmama - What triggers you to binge? Are you just hungry all day? Or do you get emotional and just start eating?
Spacing out your meals and sticking to a schedule can be helpful. Then you won't feel the hunger pains through out the day. I try to eat every 2-3 hours.
If it's emotional, then you need to find another outlet. Walk AWAY from the kitchen and find something to keep you busy. Grab a bottle of water and promise yourself you won't eat anything until that bottle is gone. Hopefully the urge to eat won't be there once you've finished it. Take it one day at a time.
If you do slip up (we all do!) don't punish yourself the next day. That doesn't help the psychi. Start each day (or each meal for that matter) like you have been doing this successfully all along. You want to create a habit. Which I've heard takes a few weeks to create. Make a plan (like eating every 2-3 hrs) and if you mess up in the AM, start again at noon. If you mess up at night, start again when you wake up. If you have two times during the day that are hard, then try to work on only one of those days. You want to get into the habit of eating per your plan every day, but you can't do that over night.
Let me know how it goes. Or if you want help with a meal plan for one day, I can help you with that too. Knowing what is laid out for the day helps. Then you can say, "No, I'm not eating that now, because in a half an hour I get to eat 'X' "
I think its funny that we all plan and schedule and bend over backwards to help our kids succeed, and rarely take our own advice to help us succeed. You do it for your kids every waking (and some sleeping) hour! You can do it for yourself too.
Ok, that's the end of my pep talk. ;D

So the scale tells me that I've gone up and down, up to 148 and now down to 142. This week I drink some but not enough water, a cup of coffee in the morning, then oatmeal with raisins for lunch, ratatouille and rice mid afternoon,or a protein drink, a bit of pnut butter & toast and small light dinner. time for the green tea! good suggestion anon!
