This is from the Kim Komando newsletter.I thought I'd post it as it may come in handy for some of our adult ADDers out there:Getting your budget in order Money is on everyone's mind. Maybe that's because we're facing the worst financial crisis in 80 years. Many of us are struggling to make housing payments and keep food on the table. So, we're all looking for ways to cut expenses. Of course, cutting expenses is difficult without a clear picture of your financial situation. That's why it's so important to monitor your finances. One of the best ways to do this is by creating a budget. You can see how much you have coming in each month. You should also list how much is going out. After you gather this information, you'll see where cuts can be made. For example, you might not realize how quickly that daily visit to the coffee shop adds up. You can spend a pretty penny on budgeting software. But why do that when you're trying to save money? Instead, give Buddi a try. This free program runs on both Windows and OS X. And, the learning curve isn't too steep. So, you can get started right away. www.komando.com/downloads/category.aspx?id=4901

Cool, thanks for the link! It is timely for me as my assignment this week is to get my bills and mail taken care of each week. My long term objective (goal) is to get my credit rating in the excellent category. I also need to look at my budget for the household and start saving. It is a lot to take on, but I will start a note about the first part of getting the mail and bills handled!
