You know you have ADD when...
...you rejoice to see that Blockbuster has done away with late fees, so you can rent again.
...you give directions to someone verbally, but they watch your hands to see which way you really meant for them to turn.
...you are looking in your purse for your cell phone, and you tell the person you're talking to on your cell phone what you're looking for.
...you can remember your friend's phone number but not her last name.
...you are on a first-name basis with your locksmith.
...you put a CD on the stero, then walk out of the house and start gardening.
...the inside of your car windows are covered with dry erase maker notes to yourself, and you tell your long-suffering spouse that it's cheaper than window tinting.
Excerpted from Survival Tips for Women with AD/HD which was in the Additude magazine I just started subscribing to.

yeah, I actually thought the dry erase markers were a good idea! When I am on fire assignements I wear these bright yellow nomex fire shirts and if I am out of my truck and forgot my memo pad, I will write notes on my sleeves, people crack up when I have to take my shirt off to read it and put the notes on my unit log!
But a lot of people started doing the same thing! Write on shirts might be the next fad!!!
I had forgot how old I was and just had a birthday and told people I was 45 again, last year until the last 2 months of the year, I thought I was 45 when I was 44! So I told my coworkers I was gonna make a dry erase shirt so I could write my age each year!! hehehehehehe

I was 31 for three years. From the time I hit 30 to the time I hit 33 I always just automatically said I was 31. I have no idea why. That is just what came out. Even now sometimes I have to do the math to figure out my actual age.

I have to do the same thing CG, I always have to do the math as I can never remember. Anyway, putting on the CD and walking out of the house cracked me up because that is me! Or heating my coffee in the microwave and then leaving the house. Thanks Kellyh, gave me a good chuckle.
