Yup, I agree it is easy to remember the bad in ADHD since that is what we struggle with, I don't really mind remembering the bad, what I mind I think is that is overshadows the good we have in us and it often takes someone or something to whack us over the head and remind us we are pretty OK people!
I think ADHD or ADD makes us more understanding, we tend to not like to see the underdog picked on, we are compassionate, we are friends for life and got your back kind of people, we can give some ok and supportive advice, we are passionate in things that speak to us, you can't knock us down too long most of the time, we like diversity, we can think way outside the box, we have a high threshold of mental pain and some physical, we see the good in others even if we do not always see it in ourselves, we continue moving ahead even when we get knocked back 10 steps, most or us that I personally know have a pretty good work ethic and want to do right all the time and we kick ourselves if we percieve we are not doing things right, we are pretty good leaders and care about our people, we can be artistic and good with our hands, we tend to have a pretty good sense of humor, we are vigilant, and I could go on and on about this topic!
But thanks for constantly reminding me of this, like I have said in the past, hit me with a 2 x 4 if I am not paying attention! ;D
