Christian has maxed out most of them in a really short period of time, have not tried the patch, too afraid he will pull it off and be completely off the wall...but he does take 72 mlgs or Concerta and were it takes over and hour to start realising and kick in, he also takes a 20 mlg or ritalin every morning. The concerta is approved for up to 72 mlgs.. if they are willing to go up have the doc write the script for 2 , 36 mlg once a day. That way there is only 1 copay.....hope it helps. We also on the weekends, sometimes give him only 1 or just the concerta and not the ritalin, so monday morning, it is like a higher dose again.
