Weeksmom welcome to the board and I see you are from Buffalo. I too am from Buffalo which is cool for I can try to help you out more for I know what services there are in the area. Have you contacted UB they have awesome studies and is now offering on Fridays babysitting. UB has given me so much support and taught me so much. Also the refusal to go to school there are agencies to help JAM (Joan A Male) has an urgent access program to target difficult behaviors and through them they have respite services and a program called Rise and Shine where someone will come to your home in the mornings and basically wake your son and take him to school themselves if necessary. For the JAM however you may need to call the county ( a number I can provide if interested) and unsure how you would feel but they assign you a Preventative worker who does the referrals for you and the county will pay for the services. I work for Erie County and am a Preventative worker and we work with difficult teens a lot helping families so you are not alone. It would be a voluntary thing you can quit at any time.
That is part of my job I also have the more complicated ones. I am a mom with an ADHD child with ODD, anxiety and sensory.
