Kelly and Puzzled, I am with you 2. I want to go and do what ever you 2 want. I dont wanna sit in the hotel. So lets see how creative we can get. Long as its not too spensive....LOL And I am thinking with kelly's history (her posts on the great deals she is always getting come to mind) that she can help us find a good deal or two. |

Wish I had more room-you could all stay here and I wouldn't even charge you!  Had I ever gotten to move I would have a spare bedroom AND a family room but since I didn't-we have neither. I am not going to stay the extra night but since I am driving I can leave whenever I want. And I can even come back the next day. I am 8 miles from the hotel. Even though I am scared to death to drive in Philly. I drive all the way to VA with no problem but Philly makes me a nervous wreck. But I'll force myself to see you guys! What are they saying about the weather for this weekend kk? I am kind of hoping that the really nice weather we have had these past few days and will have tomorrow will be in Philly for this weekend.... |

It is supposed to be 53 on Friday and 60 on Saturday and Sunday but raining. It has been freezing here.
I am so excited to see and or meet everyone but going to Philly is no fun for me. I have been there like a trillion billion times. I have seen all the historic things on class trips in grade school. As far as the bars and clubs go I have been there done that too. They are MOBBED. Kelly are you talking about Finnegan's Wake? I have been there a few times and it is one of those place where you can't even walk its so crowded. Thats basically what is in Philly-clubs. That and a bunch of cop-killers.
But you must all try a cheese-steak if you have never had a real one!

Oh well, we won't melt I guess....crowded bars do not interest me in the least, but I am up to try a cheesesteak...no onions though, can't stand onions...or peppers...so maybe you will say it is not an official cheesesteak?

Oh hell...I didn't mean I wanted to go to a bar!! I'm NOT in the picking up mood!! Nor do I look like it!!! I meant an UNCROWDED bar where we could sit around a table. The online stuff says Nodding Head Brewery is a place to possibly check out. But I also read that the Reading Terminal has bunches of restaurants....Braverman's being there as well as Down Home Diner that got good reviews. There is also a place called More Than Just Ice Cream that's open till midnight (1119 Locust St) that serves what looks like ridiculous amounts of big desserts. (check out http://www.hollyeats.com). I've looked up Sarcone's Bakery but it's only open till 3. I also read good reviews on Isgro and Horolds. But we're doing that walking tour thing for lunch (well, 1:30-4) and we're supposed to get a "real" philly cheesesteak...I'll keep you posted on that. Unfortunately, this disconnect between my mouth/stomach/brain on this prednisone is always leaving me feel hungry...can you tell?   |

Because my plane leaves at 7 in the morning. So I onlt have saturday night with you all. And I will be gone in the morning by the time you all wake up  I want to be able to do stuff with you all.
