Puzzled just text me...she's stuck on the tarmak in Philly. She said it may be an hour to 90 mins wait to take off. I think she already missed her conecting flight home.
Let's all send out prayer for Puzzled, Tigger, and Catherine. I think they would all appreciate it. Hugs to you all.

Puzzled just texted me again. She made it to Cincinnati, but I'm not sure if she'll get to Ft. Wayne tonight. I'm waiting for her to text me back. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Cool pictures!!! OMG...that chocolate covered, caramel filled belgium waffle I bought at that Naked Chocolate Cafe was to DIE for!!! My arteries say so. Catherine is still in the hospital. I feel sooooo guilty leaving here there! But when they called her at 3:30, it sounded like she was going right back to see the doctor and so they figured it wasn't worth the time to go to the hospital and then to the airport, so they sent me on. I could have requested to stay...but I guess we all figured she'd probaby make the flight at 6! Crap, crap and double crap...which isn't meant to be a pun, because they believe it has something to do with her colon. She emailed me tonight as her phone has died and she said that she's FINALLY in a room in ICU. The service has sucked so far and they even forgot to take her morning labs. They've scheduled a colonoscopy for Tuesday morning. Her boyfriend and daughter are up there with her now though. I'll keep you all posted. |

Thanks Kelly. I have been worried about her. At least now she is hopefully being watched so nothing to horrible can happen before she has the tests done.

I talked to Puzzled and Tig both. Tig is stranded in SLC due to weather. Unless she can get a flight on standby tomorrow she is stuck there until Tuesday. She has a room so she will be ok but she really is hoping to get home tomorrow.
Puzzled missed the last leg of her flight but the airport she was at is only about a 3 hr drive from her home so her husband picked her up there and she is either home now or very close.

I am here! Barely awake but here. We had to stop on the way home for me to eat, cuz the only time I ate was when uni and I went to the cafe for breakfast. All the restaurants in the cincy airport were gated and closed when I got there at about 9:30. Cost me $4 to get a teeny beefstick/cheesestick thingy, a small bag of funyons and a 20 ounce dew out of the vending machines...I was starving! Then no matter WHAT the sign said on the interstate about a 24 hour Mcdonalds...they were all closed, so we ended up stopping at a waffle house and going in to eat which wasted half an hour....and I have never been able to sleep in a car or on planes (sitting up you know), so I was exhausted when we finally rolled in at 3:58AM. I literally peeled off my clothes as I went thru the house on my way upstairs and fell into bed....woke up two hours later to get Chase on the bus, he barely made it, then, even though I had decided I was not going to my two classes, realized I was upright and not too unconcious, so I got dressed and went. Shocked Jon....but I was worried about this being a shortened quarter and the profs diving right in on the first day instead of it being a short teach nothing class...and I was right, both of them have notes I would have missed.
But the best thing that came out of today was that one of my friends had worked it out to take the geology course that looked impossible to fit with the math course, due to the fact that on the schedule, math ended at 9:35 and the geology class started at 8:30....the geo prof changed his start time to 9:15 and is allowing Mimi and Andrea to come 15 minutes late....soooo what all this means is that I can take geology instead of biology....and only have to drive the hour to campus 3 days a week instead of 5!!! I can be home for dinner 6 nights out of 7 a week! The only day I will be gone is Wednesdays when I have the night time art class. If I had not gone in today, I would not have found all this out and it may have been too late to do it if I did not get on it immediately.
I just need to go online and drop the bio and add the geology class.
Chase has already scarfed down his naked chocolate bar, proclaiming it 'GOOD'. The exact quote is "That is GOOOOOOOOD!" LOL
