Remember ladies- we need to submit to them our wish list of places we want to meet. Puzzled and I added Baltimore to the list. I would love to be the tour guide for all of you.... What's this? I didn't know about this....can someone clue me in? Catherine was discharged today and DIDN'T have a colonoscopy...she did have a flex sigmoidoscopy...still no results...so she's having more follow up work done here. she's home now.

Kelly - Saturday night those of us that were still in Philly were having a pie in the sky moment discussing places that we would like Roundtables to be held. Like they will listen to our suggestions lol. But some were like NYC again, San Diego, New Orleans, Boston, can't remember rest (help me out ladies). So Sunday I threw in Baltimore when it is nice out. ;D

When I was talking to the shire group when t he meeting was over. They told me that they were thinking about Las vegas. For are next meeting. Only because it is closer to me and I for once will not have to travel really far away. I would love that for once. But I would also love to go back to NYC. But I would also love not to travel so far away for at least one of the trips. It must be really nice only tohave to travel an hour or 2 away from home. And be able to get home right away. I love coming to you guys and spending time with all of you. Plus seeing some place I have never been. And I will continue to keep coming as I love to get away from home. And to see places I will never really get to. But just to be not so far away will be so awesome!!!

AHA! Well then....I'm definitely on board with Las Vegas. I had also mentioned that to Michelle. It's no more expensive (and actually, cheaper than what they paid for me to fly to Philly) than flying anywhere else because it's such a big hub. And with so many hotels to choose from...it shouldn't be too hard to negotiate a great rate. I think New Orleans would be cost prohibitive, but NYC is certainly still an option. There might be a couple of major cities on the west coast that could make it feasible, but I'm not sure Boston would be. I'll fly or drive anywhere...but knowing that they're going to go based, in a large part, on the bottom line....it'd have to be a city with a massive hub of activity. Atlanta would be one, as would Chicago. Even Baltimore is a big hub. :-)

Las Vegas sounds great Tig, but I wouldn't want to spend much time gambling. I am a lousy gambler so I'd be broke within 10 mins, tops. Maybe we could see a show or something there. Since you are so fond of Salt Lake City and have to stay over at least one night every trip, maybe we should just go there.

CG - submit that charge to Michelle. Tigg & Puzzled so glad that you got home safe. Kelly - Please let Catherine know how she is in our thoughts and prayers. I am hoping she will be able to go home soon. Puzzled - Tiff & Mike ate all my little chocolate squares and then said we should have left mommy some. REALLY, you think so? But little do they know that I have that little stash that we got Sunday morning when we went back to the cafe I go suggest a candy a week until we meet again. Remember ladies- we need to submit to them our wish list of places we want to meet. Puzzled and I added Baltimore to the list. I would love to be the tour guide for all of you.... LOL, I was proactive on the chocolates...I gave Chase his chocolate bar, which was gone in record time, then I put my box in the freezer, BUT, I put a note on it that says "STOP!! You are not allowed to eat ANY of these chocolates! Period!"

Seattle, or San Diego would be nice. Although I don't think I could make the drive in 20 minutes! Alburquerque could fun during hot air balloon season, too. Chicago or Detroit would be okay, but I still think time in Orlando or San Diego is best...

Hi Everyone! Sorry it's taken so long to touch base with you. As Kelly posted, I am at home finally. Still don't have an exact diagnosis (as if we don't all know how frustrating that is!) but based on what we do know it looks like ulcerative colitis. I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. It was so good to see everyone as well as see some new faces! I really hope the August trip comes to fruition. Hope to get answers in the next week or so after I see the GI doc and have my colonoscopy. I left the hospital early because I couldn't take it anymore!!! NEVER go to the ER at Hahnemann! It was the most horrible place ever. The care was almost criminal and the place filthy. Next time I'll take my chances and risk becoming critically ill. I probably would have been seen earlier had I flown home and gone to my ER, and sent home already by the time they finally got me into a room 18 hours later! There really wasn't any reason to admit me, much less to a critical care unit. I spent most of the time begging to be discharged. It wasn't until I told them I'd go AMA and they wouldn't get paid because I'd go bankrupt before they'd ever get a penny out of me that they let me go. I think the meeting went awesome! We all had a lot of great ideas and input, and I can't wait to see how it will all be put together. Kudos to all of us. Cat
