I got this article in a newsletter from Dr Robert Brooks. About 1/2 way down there is a story about a young boy he was counseling who had many problems and he couldn't get him motivated. I loved it and I loved the way he sent a message to a young boy without preaching it. Its called Timmy and Johnny Scared The Young Elephant. I think you will find it encouraging.
