Finally, after all this time I can put a name to a disorder my daughter has that makes life here quite difficult at times. I have found no one else that has a child with the disorder to the degree my daughter has it. She only eats maybe 10 things and they do not include fruit, vegetables or meat. After a vacation trip and a terrible time with my daughter with food I finally found online what it is that she has along with ADD along with other things. SED is more then just being a picky eater. I will send a post with info on it to the ADMN and they can share it. I myself suffer from ADD as some of you may remember me and have not been here in a long time. I suffered a breakdown a while back and have slowly been recovering. I can't commit to every day forums anymore because I lose focus of important things to be done in my home and attention to my family. I can try to pop on from time to time but daily use of my computer becomes destructive for me. I have missed everyone here and want everyone to know I am doing okay. I hope you all will forgive me for being gone so long. I just so much wanted to share the information I found out in case there are any of you with children that suffer from SED. Maybe you can make it a new topic to discuss if there are some of you that deal with it.
We are currently having a very hard time with my daughter right now and need to focus on getting her the proper help. She also has no friends and seems to be clinically depressed. She was picked on a few years ago in school and can't seem to recover from it. So sorry to go on. Just feeling overwhelmed but also want to reach out to anyone else that is not familiar with SED and may be dealing with it. Thanks so much for reading my post. Losty(AKA Di)
