Hi, my son is now getting 36mg. of concerta. He has been on this for 4 years. The phyc. wants to add wellbutrin to it. This is an anti depressant and I am worried because he does so well on stims. PLEASE, I need advise.

kyty... Why does your doc want to try Wellbutrin?
I know a lot of adults take this for ADD, and its suppose to have some good results. There was a time when our psych suggested this for my son when the stims weren't working for him, but we had some other issues with anxiety too, so that's why it was mentioned.

We have tryed a higher dose of concerta and Adderal. None of these worked right. So he suggested trying this now. He does worry alot also. The phyc wanted to try Sratarra first but Kyle shot him down on that. When he was first diagnosed they put him on that and he fely scared all the time. He also said he was seeing things. So that is why he said to try Wellbutrin.
