I have not seen many new jokes here so I will post this one, all you golfers or spouses of golfers may appreciat this!
A man and woman had been seeing each other for a time and one romantic night the man said he wanted to propose to the woman but he had to be frank with her. He told her he was a golf addict, he dreamed of golf, played it a lot, hung out with buddies that played all the time, he watched it on TV, etc.......
The woman replied - that is ok, I love golf too! Then she goes on to say while we are being up front I also have something to tell you.
She says in my past life I was a hooker!
The man replies that is OK, we can work on your swing!
This joke shows that people hear what they want to in a relationship.

That's a good one. I know I have misunderstood what someone said many times just because I'm not really listening but rather just picking up on key words so that joke rings true to me. Not only that but sometimes I just don't understand at all even if something was said in simple English. For example, there have been times at work that we were talking about serious issues and while I'm still thinking about that issue someone totally changes the subject and will ask me about some other issue and I swear it is almost as if they are talking to me in Greek. I'm standing there trying to put what they said so it'll fit into the previous conversation and talk about a dumb look on my face.
