I'll be packing my bags in a few weeks, finally. Just an overnight to Hershey. So looking forward to it. Did a big chuck of school shopping last week. We go to a bunch of different places but Kohl's seems to be where we get the best deals. Lots of stuff was half off and we made out like bandits last week. It actually wasn't as bad this year. Of course we did have a few arguments about the length of one of her skirts, but that is par for the course. We still have to get school supplies and Target is usually where we go for them. We might be going today if my Mom isn't too tired from a trip she just came back from. She usually likes to go with us and we have lunch and stuff. Hopefully, this week we can finish up.

I always go to WalMart first, then I look at other stores for what I can't find at WalMart.

We went to kohls today & bought shoes, bras, a few more shirts, more socks & jeans & we are finally FINISHED!  |

I have it easy...One stop to the uniform store and we are done....Love the fact that they all have to wear a uniform, there is no hassles of shopping of not liking, wanting, or better yet fighting over things they are not wearing...everyone in the whole school is dressed exactly the same.......makes my life and mornings very easy....  |

Same case as lisacap,
I already got everything at the school's store; even books and notebooks, it took me less than an hour since I did it before the previous school year was over; I just hate long lines and waiting so I was an early bird. I agree uniforms are the best. I only got backpack and lunchbox at wallmart.

I had an experience school shopping with the girls today that confirms my hatred of it. I am off on fridays and saturdays in the summer so I thought it would be good to beat the weekend crowds and go to office depot who had 15% off school stuff.
I just wanted them to buy 2 backpacks and some stuff on their supply lists and it was a nightmare and a sales lady got irrate with me cause the computer would not recognize the UPC tag line thingys. I wanted to scream so I said one bad word and pointed to communicate so that I would not unleash the LCdc wrath upon her. ARGHHHHHHHH.
