This really isn't a joke but my friend really hates snow. She said tomorrow she is going to go out with her hubbies blow torch and start melting it. She said, even if she didn't get very far it would make her feel better. Maybe this was one of those...had to been there... type things but it just cracked me up when she said it so seriously.

Ask her if I can borrow it when she is done. We can blow torch the snow from our yards and then set heat lamps up all over so the grass will grow and we can go outside without freezing. I LOVE how her mind works!

Actually, it is getting pretty ugly outside. The bad thing about snow is if it doesn't continually keep dumping on you pretty soon all the snow along the streets get so dirty and yukkie looking.
Yesterday the plows came through for a final plow and blocked all our paths to get to our cars. This is like the 6th time they did that. Grrrr.
And the city normally won't plow our alley but that is where we put our garbage to be picked up. I called to ask them about it and even though they don't have to they were out the next day, cleaned up the alley and picked up my garbage yesterday. That was really nice of them. It was really stacking up and there is no way I am going to carry those garbage cans down 22 steps to set them on the curb. So whew! I was almost ready to hire someone to come get it.

JJ, as I understand it, that is what UPS/FedEx is for. FYI~ just be sure to put a non-existing return address on it. And of course send it C.O.D. for maximum efficiency.
