It didn't strike me as sad, but I found myself reading it several times & thinking:
The sad man could feel because he felt sadness.
The unthinking man could think because he thought of a wish.
The dead man could wish because he wished he could wish (although if I were him, I'd have wished I were alive..lol).
And last, but not least, you do know what it is to want wishes, because you made a wish.
Ok, those were my thoughts. I think the best poems are the ones that make a person stop & think & yours surely did.

It made me think and think and think and I'm no where near figuring out what it all means. I guess I'm not an unthinking woman but thinking doesn't help if you aren't any further in figuring things out when you first started thinking. rotfl
I wish I could figure out these complicated poem thingys....Whoosh....right over my head.
