Your School Year

Sooooo....Now that it's coming to an end, how would you rate this year's school experience?

Shannon made honor roll 3 times & high honor once. Her teacher this year was AWESOME, she LEARNED some math!! I know my answer will be different next year, her 1st year of Jr high, but for now I'm happy!

If I could have voted twice I would have. It was an even worse nightmare than previous years and I did pull him to homeschool.

Without an education attorney, you are just making things worse for you child if you disagree with their insisting that ADHD kids only need to be forced to do the work and should be punished if it isn't finished when the other students finish theirs.

I voted OK with a few minor glitches....we did have the med switch in December, and the fish oil stomach upset....but for the most part, it was good. Chase made honor roll 3 out of the 4 grading periods (reading fell apart last quarter....) and he got soooo much better socially once we added the guanfacine.

I dont know i voted stress stress, But then again I had alot of phones calls and crap from the teacher I dont want next year to start

NIGHTMARE!!! And that's at 2 1/2 hours a day. I fear the full day of school for Sean. In addition I feel that he learned nothing.

Glad to hear Shannon and Chase did well this year. I hope next year is a good one for them too. CG, Tigger & Katie, I feel for you. This was a rough year for Becca too and I am so hoping next year will be better. With the help of the Guidance Conselor we are making sure that 3 nasty kids will not be in any of her classes next year. If things don't improve we may consider private school. It will probably be expensive but somehow we'll work it out if it's what is best for Becca. Praying for a good year for everyone next year.
