Our house has been miserable the past couple of weeks due to Josh's mood. I don't know if its puberty starting, med problems, or what, but I'm ready to dig a hole and hibernate. He is just sooooo touchy. Kyle and I can't say anything and he's upset or mad. If we try to correct any kind of behavior, we're yelling at him (which we're not). He walks around sullen and crabby. If he doesn't get a basket in the hoop, he's mad. If we're out of snacks, he's mad. If he's not doing exactly what he wants to do, he's mad. MOody, moody, moody. He's always been a "half-glass empty kid", but this is beyond that. It's like PMS on steroids! I remember what it's like to be a teenager, but I'm going nuts here. My sweet, caring boy is nowhere to be found these days and it makes me so sad. I don't even want to be around him with this attitude. His bestfriend is gone for the Easter holiday and he is so bored...of corse this is my fault cause he has nothing to do. He's bored, bored, bored, so he picks fights with us. Arrrrrggggggg! Thanks for the vent

Join the club. I keep reminding myself they do grow out of it. The trick is to survive until they do. Since we are still living with it at my house and he is 15 this month, I can't even begin to guess when it will end. Soon, I hope. I tell my son its a good thing I love him or I'd be running away from home.

I am in the club too. Miserable, nasty, teenage attitude. I think it's just normal Bugs.

I truly thought it was a girl thing also. Then Joseph turned 13. He went on a class trip to Washington DC yesterday, when I asked him what he did there he said "a lot of things, I don't feel like taking all that time to tell you." Well then, sorry I asked.

Ok...so now we've moved on to the selfish phase of teenager-hood. Ohhhhh, I really don't like this one. I think I'll go make him work in a soup kitchen this weekend...seriously. I can't stand the me, me, me, behavior. Lord help me...

I texted my sil that I was shipping my son to them so he could live with them. Her son who is the same age heard them laughing about it and told my son about the text. The boys suddenly were convinced he was really going to move in with them. They were talking so seriously about it that my brother called to make sure everything was ok. Argh! I was soooooo tempted to pack him up for UPS to take down there!

Mine asked me to make him Fench Toast and bacon at 10:00 tonight. I asked him if he was smoking drugs.
