ARGH! Shannon is turning 16 in June. She has been saving all her allowances for quite some time to get herself a new camera. She has 300.00 saved but she wants a really expensive camera. Ok, so she saw the one she wants for sale on Amazon for 500.00 & they only had 11 left. Bill & I discussed it with her & decided to give her the other 200.00 as a B-day gift & get her the camera. This is a LOT of money for us right now & we won't be able to afford any other gifts for her. We told her we'd order it with the stipulation that we put it away until her birthday & she agreed. Yesterday it came & now all we've heard since is begging, pleading, debating, crying, slamming doors, etc. she wants that camera NOW & she is giving me every reason she can think of. When we still refuse is when the tantrums & door slamming comes into play. She's driving me nuts! Anyone want custody of a 15 year old until June 19th?
