OK...Josh came home with a really good one last night. So, he's over his bestfriends house for dinner last night. I asked him what he ate, and he said "some Philippino dish". (His BF mom is from the Pilippines). So I aske him what was in it. He starts rattling off all these vegetables and meats and so on. Then he says, "It was really good and I really liked the rations in it." And I'm like "rations" So, I explain to him what a ration is and that theres no such vegetable that is a ration. A ration is a certain amount given...ect... He insists his food had rations in it. I call BF mom cracking up and asked her what he means. It had radishes in it. I about died laughing. So now I'm going to have to tease him every time we go to the grocery store and see radishes...too funny.

My high school reunion last year... one of the many reasons I think I am undiagnosed... My long time friend Tam (undiagnosed ADHD, her DD has it, she has too lol) picks up DH (diagnosed ADHD), DS (diagnosed ADHD), me ( ) and DD ( ) for the 2 hour drive to my home town for my high school reunion. We are all staying at Mum & Dad's place - they are 12 hours away visiting Grandma, and have left me their keys. 2 hours later, after chatting merrily the whole way, we pull into the outer limits... and suddenly, I go completely silent. DH and Tam turn around (I'm in back with the kids), look at me, and say 'You left the keys behind, didn't you?' (Boy, do they know me well or what?) *** Panic, panic, panic ***, but the great thing about being (undiagnosed) ADHD is we think great on our feet... half an hour and a few phone calls later, we'd arranged to meet the real estate agent selling mum and dad's house and got the keys from him ;D Even made it to the reunion with time to spare... (about 5 minutes lol)

The other day I cooked macaroni for salad. I got out my colander, grabbed my kettle of macaroni in my right hand, held the colander over the counter in my left and proceeded to pour the macaroni into the sink. ;D My colander stayed nice an clean.

I was telling people at work all day that I was trying to make a fashion statement and start a new fad. I got to work with slides on my feet. One was a dressy, strappy fashion sandal and the other was a basic, one wide strap slide, different heel heights at that. That will teach me to not pay attention to every aspect of getting dressed in the morning. It made for lots of laughs during my breaks.
