i thought id take a moment to introduce myself, and my children

i have a 6 yr old son, with adhd with impulsivity, as well as integrated sensory disorder, and possible dysgraphia (shows signs, similar to pdd) and a 3.5 yr old daughter with integrated sensory disorder, shows early signs of central auditory processing disorder, and possible adhd

i myself have moderate ocd and it is possible my son does as well

i have been blessed with the fortune of coming across a group, here in my town for parents with children with special needs, that works as both a support group and informational classes, discussing strategies on how to manage behavior, and home visits that include setting up tools at home/in the school to aid in their success (like visual aids)

i just happened to stumble upon this group, and am very interested in reading everything i can

i should also mention, my son has started on meds, we are still in the trial and error stages of it though and currently on med #4

Hey Girl, Welcome and Congradulations in having a support Group in your area, I sure that is a Huge Help.

Hang in there with the Trail & Error, it can be 'trying' at times but worth it in the long run.

I seen on your post that your a homeschooling mom. I homeschool my son for the past two years. He returned to school this year (first year of high school), but those two years at home were a Godsend for him. Would love to hear about all your experience in the homeschool life.
