I got the names of a few psychiatrists from Sean's pediatrician to get started on having him diagnosed. When I call to make an appointment what is it specifically that I should ask for? Also do I take the results of the Conners rating scale and other reports from the school or do I have them do that stuff on their own? Help!

I would ask if they can do a complete educational and psychological evaluation.
If they can do that, talk to them and see what they have to say. Personally, I think they should do their own evaluation completely. If you trusted the school's eval, you wouldn't be looking for an outside eval, so why muddy the new one with the school's.
If it agrees with the school's, then you can feel much more confident that you are on the right track.
