So, Josh is starting drivers ed tomorrow morning. I'm feeling a little torn about the whole thing. I chose the morning class because his meds will be fresh and I know he'll be able to pay attention, but it still concerns me. I was just wondering about the rest of the gang. CG, Misty, KK...have your kids gone through this yet? Josh is actually a good driver (we've let him drive the country road for a couple of years now), but I am so not ready for this phase of teenagehood...lol.

Not yet here. We don't have a car so we have a good excuse. She did take the online course when we cyber schooled & learned all the rules but no actual driving yet.

Barb, that's awesome that Jonathan is doing so well. I actually think Josh will do great, I'm just not ready for it...lol. I find that he REALLY pays attention...aka hyperfocases...and he's a stickler for ALL rules. He's actually in his room doing his homework right now...lol.
But...I'd rather be like Misty and put it off a little longer...lol. ;D
I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Joseph starts in September. It is all he talks about. Driving and cars. No, Im not ready for it either. I have been letting him ride in the car with 2 of his friends who are older. I only let him go from here to a destination (mcdonalds or for water ice) and then back. I stalk him out the window and he make sure he has his seat belt on lol. So far he has been very good with following my rules but it still makes me verrrrry nervous. And the thought of HIM driving UGH. He has the worst role model ever-ME, the angriest driver in the world.

KK, I would never have pictured you as a angry driver.
My sister says they are holding off on Destry getting her driver license but only because they can't afford the insurance. I'm thankful for that because she is not one to pay attention to the rules. Meanwhile, they are giving her all the practice they can on country roads for now.
That reminds me, I need to update my signature. Destry is not 14 anymore. Seems I've had that at 14 for a couple years. Whoops.

Aimee...we always did that too! My parents live around the block from us, so whenever we drove over there Josh always wanted to "drive". LOL
Well, Josh goes out on the roads on Friday. He shocked me today when he told me he already signed up to drive! He's only had 3 classes so far, but I guess they want to get them out there right away. He's pretty excited.
