i started dakota on dexedrine today. can tics start this soon? his mouth is twitching and stuff. is this normal?  ?? |

Aimee...I'm not sure. We never had problems with any type of ticks. I'd give his doc a quick call Monday and see. How's he doing today?

I think it was just because it was new. I gave it to him and yesterday and no twitching or "tic". And I asked his teacher today and she said no. Must have just been the first day. I did call his dr sat. night and never got a call back but i think he is ok. His teacher said he is doing great today and not falling asleep!!!

OMG!!! Sorry I have not updated...between my move and Christmas its been hectic. But he is doing soooo good, well so far and well its been 2 weeks I think. I have seen a huge difference! His teachers have too!! Fingers crossed this is the right combo!!  On another note, Dakota finally has his own room!! Circumstances have kept in the room with me since he was 2. Well the new place, HE HAS HIS OWN ROOM!!!!! This is not only good for Dakota but it is FABULOUS for mommy!!! Dakota plays so much in his room and just seems happier.  |

Awwww...I'm so glad Dakota is doing so well!!  It sounds like you got the right combination. That is such great news!! I bet your thrilled with your new place. And Dakota in his own room....awesome!! I'm so glad everything worked out in your move. I bet your exhausted from the move and the holidays...lol. Good news all around!!! |

Ya I have been exhausted but its a good exhausted!! Dakota really is a new boy!! I truly believe him having his own bedroom is having a positive impact as well. He has his own space and he doesnt come out of there lol He loves it!!
And well mommy loves having her room to herself too!!
