went to dr yesterday, couldnt wait to get there and talk this out and try and come to a conclusion of to do next. He gave me a few options, and I chose to try Ritalin LA because I didnt want to have him taking anything while at school or during after school program. I just hope this works, not holding my breath though. He mentioned something about 70% of kids respond to stims and with not responding well to vyvanse, he wasnt too hopeful that he would respond to ritalin, but he may. if he doesnt then we would try the non stim anti depressant route. This morning he took his first dose, I hope we see a difference, actually I wont see anything as by the time I see him at 5, its already worn off.

Ritalin LA is what my daughter is on and has been since the 1 st grade. It works well for my girl and she is now 12 and in the 7th grade.
