You're in for a roller coaster ride but but once the ride is over, you will have your sweetie back. It seems like forever at the time but it really isn't. It will end.

Uni, I'm with CG. I've been really put through the ringer for the past 3 years with Becca. I've cried so many times I can't count. She's been rude, disrespectful and just plain nasty at times but I have seen a slow progression out of the really wicked stage. She seems to be calming down some. She is almost 13 now. Last year in 6th grade I would say was the worst. All we did was argue. At least this year she is telling me more about how she feels and what she is going through in school. I still get some attitude but it's way better then it was a year ago. It takes time but things do eventually get better and it sure does help when there are friends to share all the ups and downs with.

Ooooooh, I'm SO not looking forward to this time in my girls' lives.... EEK! When one of my older daughter's friend's mom's (follow that? :-) ) told me that the daughter of allady she knew started her period when she was 8....I FREAKED! At that point, 2 years ago, Keara was only 7. I know that there are beliefs about it being because of all the extra hormones and stuff in our milk, etc....so I switched the girls to organic milk....which they both said was gross....sigh....so back to regular skim it was.... Keara is 9 now...and she's been getting cramps every now and again in that area....I've explained it a bit to her. I bought her the AMerican Girls book which is really good and explains everything about hygiene and body changes and tons of other stuff. It was $10. Great investment....until my 7 year old got a hold of it and asked what the girl was doing....it was the section where they show drawn pictures of a girl inserting a tampon.....SIGH....told her that she'd understand it in a few more years and took it from her.... Keara might not be too bad......but Megan.....I am soooo not looking forward to seeing if she gets PMS. Though, knock on wood, I never really got it. Still don't. Our babies just grow up too fast for our liking sometimes!!!!

I don;t get PMS either, but poor Shannon throws up every month! Shes almost 13 & been having her period for a little over a year now. I don't think the hormones in the milk do it. I switched to organic milk 2 years ago when I found out how regular milk is loaded with pus and hormones and antibiotics. Shannon hated it at first but now she tries to get visitors to taste her "Pus free" milk!

I say it is in the air since the weather got nicer. My girl has been a bear lately and not listening and i think it is all connected.

I agree Jill. As it gets nicer and school comes closer to the end Becca gets more and more lazy and also restless and loses focus. I think they just want to start their summer vacations and any little extra thing you ask them to do is just too much of an effort. Thank goodness we are done with school this Friday.

Tiff doesn't want to do anything lately. Since they haven't had a "reading Log" for June, she just won't read. She sayd that they don't need to anymore. I try to tell her yes you do, so you get better and stronger. Ugh. At least camp starts next week.
