Hello, everyone.
I wanted to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your online family of "posters," even though it was for "work purposes" as discussed.
It is mainly because of the experience I had with all of you (seeing how helpful you are one to another) that made me go out in search (online) for support groups for myself, as my baby of 15 months has recently been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and left hemiparesis among a few other things.
The support I have found online as well as the help I have been privileged to offer other moms has been such a tremendous blessing to me. I have joined 4 groups, which at first, seemed overwhelming. But now that they know me and my story, I have a few people who email me a lot directly, and we are a huge comfort to one another. But it is because of the encouragement I felt shared among all of you online that I thought it might be a help to me to do so for my own reasons with my daughter. (And thanks, Barb, for the push too!)
So, thank you again, for your support and trust. I truly wish you all the best and pray God's watch care over your children. We are blessed to have them, no matter our struggles. One thing I have learned is it almost always can be worse. As much as it saddens me that others have it a little harder, it helps me recognize God's dealings with our family to not allow it to be more than we can handle with His help. And there are many times I do see that our situation is harder than others, but again, it is a balance and it is all in God's perfect hands.
I hope to check in from time to time, but please feel free to email me offline if you wish. (needmoreinfo@yahoo.com).
Alos, on a business note, I told Dan that you want to be kept informed of the progress of the materials that you helped out with, and he assures me that he will do that (probably asking me to update you here and there). Thanks all! You did a wonderful job.
Best,
Maria
