The National Education Association has published a booklet for educators to explain autism and give tips on autism in the classroom. It's an excellent booklet that you may want to print out for teachers and paraprofessionals. the file is in PDF format and you must have Adobe Acrobat to download it. www.nea.org/specialed/images/autismpuzzle.pdfjjMisty, You have no idea how much I'd love to send that to my niece. (For those who don't know...my neice has two sons..one I am certain is Aspergers and the other is too young to know for sure but probably is autistic. Our family has been told they don't want to hear any such thing about their sons and I have to respect that.) But since my niece homeschools her kids I would think it would give her some great tips on teaching her boys. I'm tempted to send it annomously but then it would have a post office stamp and that would give it away as to who sent it. Besides that would be mean and underhanded. But still..... Charlie GirlWow! That is a lot of info! Its a must have for anyone with an autistic child or anyone who deals with autism at all. It helped me understand it better and I didn't even get very far into it. It is going to take a while to get through it.
