Oh, my gosh Misty...I don't know why, but I was just hysterical reading this! I just know if Josh was a girl he would do the same thing....cracked me up!!!!!! I know, Bugsmom. Believe me, it wasn't funny when I found them, but I can laugh about it now. And what is it with kids & bathroom problems? Is that an ADHD trait? Shannon doesn't wipe after she pees. I know this because she never flushes. I've called her on it & she says "I just peed. You don't have to wipe after peeing". I've told her over & over that its unsanitary not to wipe & that only boys can get away with not wiping after peeing, but still she refuses.

It just may be an ADHD trait. I have not dealt with all these bathroom problems before. Sean does not flush, leaves the seat up, pees on the seat because sometimes he doesnt put the seat up, pees on the floor, peed on the wall, doesn't wash his hands, shoves things down the toilet, and pees on himself. As far as showering goes-he always forgets a towel, forgets to use soap and shampoo, dumps all the shower gel and shampoo down the drain and swings from the bar across the top falls into the tub and gets really hurt. Teeth brushing-spits all over the sink and leaves it there, leaves the water running and leaves the bathroom, squeezes the toothpaste all over everything and would not brush his teeth for months if not told to do so. You know those women that sit in the bathroom at clubs and restaurants and hand you paper towels and keep the bathroom clean? Yeah, we need one of those.

OMG....Shannon is the same way (to a lesser degree now that she's older). When she was Seans age she would use all the shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, etc in one shower. It used to drive me NUTS. I knew she was playing with it & finally started hiding it & only giving her a dollop each time she took her shower. She doesn't do that any more thank God & we can leave the stuff in the tub again, thankfully, because you don't know how many times I forgot it wasn't in there until it was too late & then had to dash dripping across the house to get it. Shannon still has to be reminded & sometimes pressured to brush her teeth, but she's neat now when she does it. She used to leave globs of toothpaste all over the place at Sean's age. She still makes a huge puddle after her shower & leaves her dirty clothes in a heap instead of throwing them in the hamper. I make her go back & clean it up when I see it, which doesn't make her happy, & I've noticed she's getting a bit better at remembering but its a slow process.

KK was it you who had the overflowing toilet mess or am I thinking of someone else? I don't know....I was just thinking that maybe somewhere in Seans mind he remembers getting in trouble for the overflowing toilet and got confused about what he should put in the toilet and what he should not. I do know that some of those babywipes aren't supposed to be flushed and maybe that is actually all he put in the toilet before??? But then, now that I read over your post you didn't really say where he is supposed to put the used ones but I assume in the toilet.
Needless to say, this thread has me feeling sorry for you and your wonderful discovery and laughing my butt off at this whole thread.

If this is turning into a thread on potty humor I have to include something from when my daughter was 10 or 11 months old. I used to put a baby gate up so she was in the kitchen and bath where I could see her from the shower. She came into the bathroom one day yelling "Mommy, look! look! " I got out of the shower and she led me to it. She had used the contents of her diaper to make a very good picture for a child that young on the side of my stove. I wish I had taken a picture of it now but back then, all I could think of was cleaning it off and disinfecting my kitchen.

Tiff and her bathroom use fits right in here! Half of the time she doesn't wipe when she pees. Or if she does it isn't good enough to prevent herself from getting red down there. Makes me crazy Then there is the other bathroom issue. I thought I was the only one with stock in baby wipes She uses them a lot for messes. But we get flushable kind, so I have never found them in the trash can, thankfully. And Misty, let's hope that when she gets her period I don't have the issues that you had with Shannon.
