Thanks for a great link, "Learning to Relate to Others" While I couln't get the video to play I think the Articles, case studies and learning bases are excellent.
Case study of the 11th grader reminded me a bit of my son, altho he did not go through depression and isolate himself. He joined clubs with kids of similar interests and connects with teachers and students to enrich his interests. He has learned to use all of the people and resources at school to advance his interests.

T He has learned to use all of the people and resources at school to advance his interests. That is awesome! my daughter is in 6th grade. I hope she does as well as she gets into the higher grades. Next year she starts middle school & I'm a bit nervous to see how she handles all the changes!
