Thats wonderful, Bugsmom! I love this thread & hearing the success stories too! I like focusing on the GOOD things, instead of always just posting about the BAD things!

So glad to hear of everyone's kids doing well. Congrats to all of you! Becca takes a big test tomorrow and I'm hoping she will do well. Crossing my fingers.

More good news. He made three A's and four B's on his report card. Woohoo!!! He brought his D on his progress report up to a B, brought his two C's up to B's, and brought one of his B's up to an A. Of course, as always, his best grade, a 100, is in P.E., which he says is his favorite subject .

We're slowly getting letters back from the college admission folks. So far he is at 4-2-0. Four acceptances with nice scholarship awards from Grinnell, Whitman, Lawrence U, and Ursinus. Waitlisted at Haverford and Carleton and no rejects yet. So he is feeling pretty good. The road's been long, he's worked hard for this and fortunately he still loves to learn. On the fun side, in the next three days he is doing a lot of music--practicing with a friend, gigs on Fri and Sat, playing at Acoustic Night at school, playing at the Tolo Dance Saturday night. Busy boy.
