I just checked it out and I want one. I can't imagine how much easier life would be if I didn't have to choose between writing something down and catching the next points being said.

I saw that advertised on T.V. Amazing. I want one too! I'm always losing track of what is being said when I stop to think how to write something or just ponder over something said. My brains is always taking off on it's own.

I sure could have used one in school.
The ability to quickly find certain parts of the recorded message, adjust speed are tops. Much better than recording a lecture and trying to fill in notes later which my sister used to do.
For those with slow or messy writing , using this would allow someone to take fewer notes if they like, then go back and fill in later.
I am interested in my son trying this out...he is usually critical of any new device, but this seems so cool to me!

I seen this in the Target flyer a couple weeks ago. I would love to get this for Josh, but its pretty pricey. They are charging $150.00 at Target. Boy, it looks so cool! I think it would be great for a high school or college student. I'm afraid Josh is still a bit to young for this. He's sooooooo absent minded, I'd have to attach a lojack to it so it wouldn't get lost!

I just finished reading the consumer reviews at Target online and it sounds great. Interesting reads on how they use it (like during phone conversations where they put the phone on speaker function and record the conversation with notes filling in what they missed later) and great search functions.
The only problems I detect if you drop it its dead, lanyard to hold it would be good. target has an electronic insurance policy and costco probably includes their return poicy.

Does it include "I can't find it?" LOL...
Or, "I can't remember where I left it?"
Hopefully as Chase gets older, this new trend of doing better at remembering will continue...
An aside here....I got an awesome email from his social studies teacher that included the info that chase once again advocated for himself in asking for hard copy of notes as indicated in his 504...the teacher was apologetic that he had overlooked that point, glad that Chase pointed it out to him.

I think all these nifty tech items should some with beepers to help locate them!
Remembering does get better, but golly, J was in disbelief recently that he lost his meds in his dorm room within seconds of opening the pkg that I had mailed him! I can't even add here that he found them, because when he came home for Thanksgiving, he was secure in the belief that they were somewhere in his dorm room.
Congrats for self advocacy, Chase! That is super! Keep it up!

That is exactly what I keep telling him...mom is not there at school, so he needs to keep those teachers in line!
I am so proud of how he is doing...he wants to go back on the ritalin LA once we can afford the $178 a month, but with the way things are going on the dexedrine, I am afraid to upset the apple cart! Straight A's....no homework clinics....no calls from the teachers....only good emails...I don't know how to act!
