Oh, my gosh! How did I miss this thread??? It's so good to "see" you and to hear things are going well for your family. :-/It's wonderful that your son is enjoying college and advocating for himself. Great, great news! You need to come back and visit more often. |

It is so good to hear from you!!!! I think the last time I spoke to you was on the ride back to the airport leaving NYC!!!!! So I sure miss you alot!!!! It sure sounds like everything is going well for you. Hope to see you around more!!!

Helloooo!!!! I have a lot of catching up to do to find out what's been happening in everyone's lives and how your kids are doing! I am just lucky that I can remember my password! We are starting to get a bit settled in our new home and still need to get pictures up and some curtains, but we are making progress. One big thing about moving, means you need to establish new doctors. My son, J, has an appointment with a psychiatrist at a center for ADHD nearby. It is not near his college but near our new home, so I hope this arrangement will work out for him. (His college is one and a half to two hours away driving time.) His doctor on the west coast specializes in adhd and has been sending scripts until we get settled with a doctor here. Altho he has been on the same med dose for a long time and is stable, J and I decided it would be good to get a specialist for this transition, in case something comes up and to have someone who is up to date on adhd and all. the center seems to have lots of professionals to help with the various aspects of adhd. I sure could have used a place like this when he was younger instead of running around to medical, psych, educational etc services. regards to all!! It is great hearing from you all and I promise to start checking in regularly. You guys are the best!  |

I'm so glad you stopped in and can't wait until you can be here more often again. We miss you!
It's great that you are finally getting settled and found a center that handles all the aspects of ADHD. I wish there was one here. Hopefully there will be more of them in the future. I love the idea of everything being in one place.
