Hello everyone! I'm new....as of about two hours ago. Took me this long to find a few minutes to post an intro as the wee ones were in need of management...and supper, which still isn't done. *sigh*
Puzzled sent me. She'd been telling me to come over for a couple of months now...and I'm FINALLY here! Tired, but here.
A quick intro then I must go, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I'm an open book...and I'm sure Puzzled will agree on that! LOL
My name is Tiffany. I'm a 36 year old, worn out, run down, frustrated, exhausted SAHM to 6. They are 16 (he thinks he's 30), 14 (he has adhd which I've adapted to, without meds), 8 (she's just like me in more ways than one. LOL), 7 (she was born 6 weeks early with no lower left arm/hand and also has no left kidney), 6 (he has been dx'd with RAD and PTSD. I'd bet there's more to him than that....) and 4.5 (he's.....well....he's the baby. LOL)
The younger two were my great nephews that we picked up in Ohio at the egg donors request. That was May 2003. On August 24th of last year, we adopted them. Since we picked them up, it's been a fight to get a dx's on the 6 year old....and when we finally got one, we can't find anyone to take the insurance to treat him. He needs a RAD specialist, not someone who is going to second guess what will help...so for the SECOND time tomorrow, I'm having a phone interview with SSA to try to get him on SSI so that money can pay for therapy.
I'm exhausted, daily.... Frustrated. Helpless felling. Angry.
But, I try to suck it up and be cheerful. =)
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!!!
