Yawning over here tonight. I am so tired I think it is this cold, cloudy, miserable weather. I couldn't wear flip flops today which was a bummer. When I have to give up my flip flops I know the summer is coming to an end. I am trying to ignore the fall. I still haven't put up my Halloween decoration. And yes, I only have one. Sean had a class trip to a farm today to pick pumpkins and my friend chaperoned and told me he was very good. I am always worried when he has a trip because he can get quite out of control. So that was nice to here. Still didn't get my psychology test back. I am curious to see what I got and now I will have to wait until next week. I got a new toy for my anniversary-a digital picture frame. I love it-it's fun! It can even play music if I can figure out how to do it.

Zat is the coolest costume ever,Bugsmom! Josh looks adorable in it! KK you are cracking me up with your one Halloween decoration! As you probably figured out from the way I decked out the site, I have GAZILLIONS of Halloween decorations! I am so THRILLED--its finally feeling like Autumn! Its deliciously cool & crisp & I am loving every second of it! I spent today putting the rest of the pool toys away & cleaning my back porch just so I could be out in it. Shannon is going to her friend Autumn's tomorrow after school & then sleeping over so I sent her up to pack a small bag of overnight stuff & she came back with this bulging knapsack! Oh my gosh,....I went through it & took out 2 stone gargoyles (don't ask), all these necklaces (they would have set off the metal detectors anyway), books, etc.....and then I had to ADD her toothbrush & hairbrush! Nothing like packing "the essentials" LOL!

All I really want is a pair of jeans that fits....and they would if I'd stop opening my mouth and putting food in it!!!! So I'm off to Goodwill at lunch. I'd rather only spend $5.00 on jeans in a size that I don't want to wear than $40! Sigh.... Other than that, I updated our Vyvanse study post....so that's new. And I got a new LG Steam washer and dryer. As long as it's not breathing, I've put it in it. Though I'm eyeing the dogs as those two get really dirty...... Hubby went yesterday and today to Roanoke to make up his National Guard drill for November. That weekend that he should have done drill, he'll be in Myrtle Beach with 23 other guys for a golfing weekend. I'm going to tell him that I want to go to Phoenix, AZ in March to a friend's wedding vow renewal ceremony. AND I can kill 2 birds with one stone because that friend (she's the daughter of the owner of the company I work for and for the past year, we've become really good friends though we've never met each other) happens to live only 10 minutes away from one of my best friends from college who used to be my roommate! On the downside....it's the same weekend as his army drill only he can't make up that date as it's a mandatory one. He only has 2 mandatory dates and wouldn't that weekend be one of them. So I'm trying to figure out who I can pawn my kids off on for a long weekend! I'm hoping to figure something out!

Because of the arrival of the chilly fall weather I have been cooking comfort food...I made chili the night before last and last night, I made potato soup. Funny how 6 qts of both left almost no leftovers. We are pigs here, plain and simple.
I loved josh's costume, it was priceless, Chase would love it.
And don't feel bad, I have NO halloween decorations...just never got any, never even thought about it till I read about kk only having one...LOL
I am swamped here with papers to write, and I am living for the middle of November when I am off for 6 weeks....

Can anyone please send me some sunshine? I need vitamin D which if i could sit in some sun i could get it. Cuz i keep forgetting to take that dang vitamin. We havent had sun in a week it seems like. But i did have a kid and husband free day yesterday. Well i've been husband free all week. He's in Minnesota killing bambi's mom and dad. And he was told not to bring any animals home dead or alive. I'm not eating venision either. YUCK GROSS no way! I got to go to a really crazy fall craft show. Wasnt really looking for anything. But of course i still had to buy some cute halloween decorations. After a couple of hours of walking around in the cold we went to lunch and had a few drinks. Then i was ready for bed. It sucks i'm only in my early 30's and i'm ready for bed by 6pm. So i came home and layed around for awhile and then took my son to a haunted trail thing. It was pretty cheesy to me but it scared him.lol. Then i go to pick up my daughter and she has a cold and cant breath. So we have been up and down all night giving her neb treatments. Hopefully we wont have to make a ER visit today. Just going to eat some chili and watch the BEARS game today. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Extra stressful Sunday! Dd has been crying on and off during the whole day. I took her to the ped last week after some vomiting and fever; the doctor said it was a virus and only prescribed over the counter pain relievers for fever or pain. I thought she was getting better but now she has added cough and a very runny nose and I have been fighting with her to give her meds to dry up her nose, but she just spits them out. She has rejected her milk or food, so definitely she is not feeling well. I tried to give her a tylenol tablet (which is like candy) but she won't chew or eat it. I am a bit desperate and stressed out by her crying. My husband takes her for a few minutes then he gives her back to me. I am afraid she could have developed an ear infection because the crying has been for too long. It is terrible when a child can't tell you what is wrong. Sweetpea, yes, I can send you some sunshine from here. Today we had a beautiful sunny and fresh day. Later it rained a little but it was fine!

Frankly i can't stand deer meat. Misty i sure will send that deer meat your way. My step-dad owned a butcher shop and i worked there one deer season. EWWW not good lookin meat. Mary thanks for the little bit of sunshine. I was enjoying my coffee sitting out on the porch. We are to get more rain today. Sorry your dd is not feeling well. Mine is home from school today. Yesterday we had to make a trip to the ER. She was holding her chest saying I cant breath. And i didnt want to wait too long as she was taking neb treatments and they werent lasting long. But they said she sounds clear. They said maybe she has anxiety about it. GREAT.
