Wide awake I am and cannot fall asleep. My h went to sleep hours ago and I am just not tired. Tonight we actually went Christmas shopping! Yuck! We got Sean just about done but ran into a real problem because we were going to get him a wii. Apparently this is impossible because they are nowhere to be found. So we have to think of something else. I have no idea what to get Joe. I cannot stand Christmas shopping. Tomorrow I also have to go shopping for some winter clothes for the boys. Joe's pants are all floods and Sean's all have holes in the knees. I hate shopping. Other than that I have nothing going on this weekend. Yes, I know my life is so very glamorous and exciting!

xtremely busy today. I am getting ready to go home , but I am really desperate to see my kids. DD was sick for almost the whole week, when she was getting better of the mouth blisters thing she was still having fever at night. She was finally prescribed antibiotics (which I hate my kids to have to take) and yesterday she was finally fever free. This week she was not sent to school. I have been traveling without my kids about three times in my life and I know it is pretty common for them to get sick when mom is not around. It happened to me with ds also when he was a baby. Fortunately my son has been great and asking me to bring him things by the phone. Bad part is that I couldn't find a toy character he wanted so badly, so I know he will be disappointed, you all know how kids are. I have to pack today, the flight leaves tomorrow at 7:30am so I have to wake up pretty early. I will be home by mid day and that is great because I will have the afternoon to get all set again to face the whole week. Like I always say, I wish I could stay and bring my kids, but it is just a dream, I have to get real. Well, I gave my weekend part!!

Yes, today is the last day of moving my parents. Thank god the movers are coming and packing up all the furniture and heavy items. My back hurts just from carrying boxes. Theres no way i could move their beds or tables. But i am a little sad. That was the house i grew up in. I've got lots of good memories i guess. And i'm use to my parents living so close, just about 5 minutes away. Now they are going to a little town about 20 minutes away. It will just be different. I get to take the kids for their flu shots today. They are just loving me..hehe. They have the day off of school and they get to go get a shot..Then we will have to make it to the grocery store some time today. I'm sick of eating fast food. Not much more to say. Cant wait for

Zombie is what I feel like. Not really but crap starts with a c. I am sick sick sick again. Last weekend Sean's sister was really sick so he caught it and now I have it. I havent left the couch much today. I hope I feel better tomorrow because I have to go to school. I just wish everyone in my house would go to bed but it is Monday night football so that is not happening. One down and two more to go. I think I am going to take a long, hot bath and lay in my bed with a book til these people go to bed. Well I really don't have too much to say just feeling sorry for my sick self.

A busy weekend I had. I must admit I had my great break last week, but what was left for me here is driving me nuts. School work has kept me busy during the whole weekend. I have been correcting so many papers; at this hour I just can't continue. The amount of papers is exaggerated. There are many people who say that being a teacher is great because it is a part time job meaning that you are able to have the rest of the afternoon for you, or like in my case, for the kids. For me, it has never been like it. I keep working at home, I just don't have enough time at school to get done with all the amount of corrections and planning. I wonder if it is the same in the US; I mean,, if teachers really get done with everything at school, or if they keep on the paper work at home. I love the essence of being a teacher, but not really this way; I just don't have much time for my family, even on weekends. This week has been the worst of my life since I have had double work due to my week off. I am really going crazy.

Bustin' their butts is what the teachers around here do. They spend any free time they might have in school helping kids like my son keep afloat, then they end up taking work home plus working at extra curricular events. Its great that they have long breaks, but when school is in session the good teachers are kept very busy and work long hours. I could never do it Mary. As upset as I get with the schools, I do have to admit the teachers work hard.
There is no school until next Monday so my son has a holiday. I am trying to paint my living room and kitchen. I don't mind priming. I don't mind patching nail holes and doing whatever else is needed to make my house look nice but I absolutely hate sanding! Guess what I'm doing now. Yep! Ugh! Sanding.

CG: extracurricular events are terribly stressful. First I get behind with my program and then I have to do miracles so I can get up to date again. My co teacher (the Spanish one) is not very cooperative, so...
Yesterday I was also writing a script for the Christmas act, for which they asked us to create a dramatization based on Christmas traditions from a foreign country. Obviously I chose the US and I am also planning to add something about UK since English is also spoken there. So, just figure out how works piles up for me and for all the teachers. It is a great job, but I think I really work harder than my husband. I would like to know how it feels to work peacefully sitting in an office, LOL
